Description:
Arduino MKR Vidor 4000 uses the ease of use of Arduino with the most powerful reprogrammable chip FPGA available. Using Vidor, you can create a board where all pins are PWM signals that control the speed of the motor. You can capture the sound in real time and make a sound pedal for the guitar. You can create a real-time computer to read sensor information and send it to the latest monitor, or capture video and sensor information on the image and send it to the screen. You can connect to the Arduino IoT Cloud and control a complex laboratory machine running a large number of motors. You can even prototype your own processor inside the FPGA and make it work in parallel with other microcontrollers on the board. Vidor is a device that can perform experiments, precision and high-speed calculations.
Arduino MKR Vidor 4000 can perform high-speed DSP operations for audio and video processing. Therefore, Vidor includes Micro HDMI interfaces for audio and video output, and MIPI camera interfaces for video input. Following the MKR series format, all pins on the board are driven by SAMD21 and FPGA. Finally, there is a Mini PCI Express connector with up to 25 user-programmable pins that can be used to connect the FPGA as a peripheral device to a computer or create your own PCI interface. The microcontroller of this board is a low-power Arm®Cortex®-M032-bit SAMD21, which is the same as other boards in the Arduino MKR series. WiFi and Bluetooth® connections are performed through u-blox's module NINA-W10 (a low-power chipset operating in the 2.4GHz range). Most importantly, secure communication can be ensured through the Microchip®ECC508 encryption chip. In addition to this, you can also find a battery charger and a directional onboard RGB LED.
You can connect the development board to any existing WiFi network, or use it to create your own Arduino access point.
